Atieh Pardazan Sharif’s Contribution to the Third Steam Unit of Ferdowsi Combined-Cycle Power Plant

The third steam unit of the Ferdowsi Combined-Cycle Power Plant, with a capacity of 160 MW, was successfully connected to the national electricity grid in late July this year and entered the operational phase.

Atieh Pardazan Sharif Company, as a contractor for MAPNA Group, played a role in the localization of the power plant’s equipment by carrying out the engineering and manufacturing of the plant’s Rupture Discs. It is worth mentioning that the Rupture Discs manufactured for this power plant were of a special type and were produced in Iran for the first time. Previously, they were planned to be manufactured by a German company.

Atieh Pardazan Sharif Company has been manufacturing various types of Rupture Discs under the IRRUP brand in Iran for approximately 15 years. More than 500 industrial sites across the country use Rupture Discs manufactured by this brand.
