Visit of the Electrolyzer Technical Committee of Arvand Petrochemical to Atieh Pardazan Sharif Holding

In line with improving the quality of domestic production and supporting the localization of advanced petrochemical technologies, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, Dr. Mohammad Reza Karimi (CEO of Arvand Petrochemical Company) and the Electrolyzer Technical Committee of Arvand Petrochemical visited the production facility of the knowledge-based company Atieh Pardazan Sharif in Tehran.

This visit was conducted to review the technical capabilities and capacities of Atieh Pardazan Sharif in the field of anode and cathode coating for electrolyzers, which is considered one of the most advanced and critical technologies in the chlor-alkali (CA) industry.

During the visit, committee members inspected production lines, advanced laboratory processes, and the company’s technical and innovative achievements, and the performance of various departments was evaluated in detail. A report of the evaluation results was also presented to the CEO of Arvand Petrochemical Company.

The recent activities of Atieh Pardazan Sharif in the field of electrolyzer anode and cathode coating were highly appreciated by the CEO of Arvand Petrochemical. Dr. Karimi, referring to the company’s significant technical and scientific infrastructure at an international level, emphasized the need for continuous improvement of quality control standards and alignment with global standards. He described the achievement of anode and cathode coating technology as a valuable milestone in the path of industrial self-sufficiency, noting that: “Anode and cathode coating technology is available only to a limited number of companies worldwide, and achieving it domestically is the result of strategic risk-taking and smart investment by Arvand Petrochemical and the technical capabilities of Atieh Pardazan.”

He also stressed the importance of localizing next-generation electrolyzers by domestic experts and considered this path a key factor in enhancing Iran’s position in advanced petrochemical technologies. At the end of the visit, both parties emphasized continued cooperation to strengthen domestic production, develop technology, and increase the competitiveness of Iranian products in international markets.

Atieh Pardazan Sharif, as a leading company in specialized anode and cathode coating and the production of key electrolyzer equipment, has consistently worked toward developing indigenous technical knowledge, improving quality, and achieving global standards. It is worth noting that the company has successfully coated more than 2,000 anodes and cathodes for Arvand Petrochemical.
